Question by gavinh29: is it a good idea to learn to fly a petrol radio controlled airplane without an instructor?
i am getting a radio controlled plane for xmas and was going to try and fly it with only some written instructions off the internet and some advice from some people. I have a field i can practise in legally as its privately owned.

Is this a toy plane or one you actually sit in? if its a toy one- yeah go for it- if its a real one, then NOOOOO you dont want to risk your life!

Hey, so i’ve got a sudden craze for a Remote/Radio Controlled petrol powered car.

since i’m new to them i have a few questions for any body with experience….

What are the good makes?
Is 1:8 a good size?
Are they reliable?

And most importantly to any of them run on regular pump fuel?
