    Remote is a general term meaning you control it from outside the car. There may be a wire from the control to the car, or there may not. Radio controlled cars are exclusively controlled from a wireless unit. Generally, the wired units are for much younger kids. Hope this helps!

    Radio control controls the car using radio waves while remote controls controls the car by using Infrared rays.

    A "Remote Control" means it might be wired or wireless. A "Radio Control" means wireless.
