I’m looking to buy a remote control airplane or helicopter for my nephew who’s turning 10. I see many online but most of them don’t tell you the age group they’re for. I’d like to get one that he can fly outdoors. My limit is 0. Anyone have any recommendations? I surely would appreciate your help. Thank you!

I have a dirty birdy radio controlled airplane that is thirty plus years old. I believe I painted the body with a product called hobby poxy which is no longer in bussiness. Any suggestion as to what needs to be done to repaint this airplane? Keep in mind that it will need to withstand spills of model airplane fuel of at least ten percent nitro ( in other words it needs to be fuel proof).

I would settle for a good remote control car or boat too. But would prefer a plane, or helicopter. Im looking for mainly durability, then control and speed…… Looking to spend at max. . I figured ebay would have the best deals right?

20 or 30 years ago, model airplanes were a somewhat regular sight at open clearings, parks, schools and so forth. Now they’ve all but disappeared except for at a few dedicated fields.

I’m a huge Trekker and didn’t know that fellow Electron’s Club member John Krietzer was also into the show until he e-mailed me pictures of his RC version of the Enterprise A. It’s made out of depron foam from plans that he found in Model Aviation magazine. So we decided to have some fun. I know the music is from The Next Generation but it seemed to fit better editing.
